EGN's excellent team result this weekend was made perfect by Marius Prünte's podium rank and rank seven for Boris Fastring at the Grenzland race in Wegberg. These two top results were brought about by a very good team performance. Among the competitors of the EGN-Rose-NRW riders were strong teams, such as Kuota-Indeland, Drössiger PZ-Racing Team and top single riders, such as Tolles and Sydlik of the Team OSG. The team continued to be present in front groups and showed great pursuing work, too. After half of the race, heavy rain started to fall, and the course of events changed completely. A Dutch rider seized his opportunity to escape and rode towards a solo victory. Different groups tried to catch up with him, but failed. One of these groups consisted of 12 riders, among them Tim Gebauer, Frank Lütters and Gero Walbrül. The EGN team then brought Marius Prünte and Boris Fastring into an excellent position to sprint for rank two and were rewarded with their ranks three and seven.
